I follow Lecrae on IG, saw the post, and then watched the news…
Father, I thank you for this day and for your abundant mercies you give us each day. Please allow those affected by the tornado in Oklahoma to turn to you for guidance, comfort, and help. Keep those who are selflessly giving their time and energy to rescue efforts protected and encouraged. The joy of the Lord is our strength despite what troubles rise. Let your will be done on this earth and through out my life. In Jesus name I pray and believe… Amen-
So many thoughts came to mind when I saw these images and read President Obama’s speech at the commencement. Above all, this served as a reminder to remain unwavering in my pursuit for all of my goals and to keep things in the right perspective. It may have rained on these graduates and their supporters, but no force of nature could take away their accomplishment on that morning. The true measure of men is how they remain intact regardless of their circumstances or surroundings. I am thankful to God for keeping me through my college years and the privilege to graduate a week ago. I encourage everyone to not let the rain that falls in your life deter you from getting your just rewards.
PJ Morton’s first album (New Orleans) on a major label is out NOW!! It’s currently holding down the #1 spot on iTunes. Listen to it on spotify and then support this talent. Waiting on my copy, which is on back-order :(
proud to say that I know this man. This short video is a reminder to encourage each other and remember that we are all a child of God. We must work hard to get what we desire and we must hold onto our vision.
I recently stumbled upon Daniel Johnson, who is an amazing gospel artist. This song has really been ministering to me. In light of Easter and how Jesus was crucified for ALL of humanity, I am reminded how God did all of this for not only my good and I am eternally grateful.
